Liason interpreting

The term ‘liaison interpreting’ refers to a type of interpretation service provided during a meeting between two or more interlocutors for the purposes of, for example, making business decisions or drawing up contracts; other scenarios include sports events, linguistic assistance during visits to production plants, technical seminars or professional training. The interpreter works by memorising a brief passage and then translates it into the target language: the interlocutor therefore needs to pause frequently (speaking no longer than 1-2 minutes at a time) so the interpreter can translate effectively.

CTI provides interpreters for Italian businesspersons on overseas missions, for foreign delegations visiting Italy, for technical and business meetings, technical training sessions or trade fairs and other international events.

We are the official interpreters of the Clinica Mobile, part of the medical division of IRTA (the international association of teams participating in the MotoGP World Motorcycling Championships).
